Let Members Submit Their Own Dues — Self-Pay is an easier way for members to pay! Give your members the option to conveniently submit their international dues payments online. The setting to enable Self-Pay is located at the bottom of the Club Contact and Meeting Information page in Club Central. Remember to click “Save” at the bottom of the page after enabling the setting.

Encourage Members to Submit Questions — In the Toastmaster feature The Answer Man, longtime member Bill Brown tackles everything from finding speech topics to Table Topics. Members should email their questions to magazine@toastmasters.org for a chance to be featured!

Submit Dues by April 1 — If you are not enabling Self-Pay and encouraging members to pay their own dues, submit on behalf of your members on the Membership Management page of Club Central. Completing your club's membership renewal requirements by April 1 will qualify your club to receive on-time submission credit for the appropriate section of Goal 9 in the Distinguished Club Program. Remember, unpaid officers lose access to Club Central 30 days after their membership expires. Additionally, if a member is competing in a speech contest, their dues must be paid before the start of the contest to be eligible.

Talk Up Toastmasters Award — The Talk Up Toastmasters program recognizes your club for adding five new, dual, or reinstating members to its roster with a join date between February 1 and March 31. When you do, your club will earn a ribbon to display with the club banner, plus a 10% discount on the next club order from the Toastmasters Online Store! Member applications and payments must be received no later than March 31 to qualify.

Is Your Club in Good Standing? — To find out, select your club's District from the Daily Reports — October Dues Renewal Status and ensure your club is listed as "Verified Complete." The Club Status Guide will help determine how your club's current status affects different features and areas of various programs. If you notice a discrepancy, contact the Club Quality and Member Support Team at membership@toastmasters.org. Clubs currently not in good standing have until March 31, 2025, to correct their membership and avoid suspension.

Pathways Engagement Supports Overall Engagement — Encouraging your members to complete levels and paths in the Toastmasters education program helps them grow their leadership and communication skills, enhancing the overall club experience. As members achieve milestones, your club moves closer to achieving Distinguished status!

Path Completions — As you prepare for a successful end to the program year, keep in mind that members don’t receive Distinguished Club Program credit for completing a path until the Path Completion section has been fully completed—this means there’s an additional project for them to complete once they’ve submitted Level 5. To assist in accuracy, the dashboard was recently updated to ensure that this educational award is reflected accurately as Path Completion.

How to Use Club Funds — Clubs with available club funds can use this money to support the club by purchasing materials, paying for meeting space, purchasing refreshments, and more. Additional information can be found on the Use of Club Funds page. You can also contact us at clubquality@toastmasters.org.

Missing Names for Educational Achievements? — Have you ever noticed that you may not see a member's name on the Educational Achievements report and instead only see a number? That is the member's ID number, which can appear without a name when a member has requested in privacy settings that their name not appear on public reports.
