What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?

In my view, RAs are there to support the District Trios in their assigned region in reaching their District Mission, to be the link between Board of Directors and World Headquarters if needed, and train the District trios worldwide twice a year. I believe I have developed a consistent network within the Toastmasters world that can help me support the trios better. My communication, interpersonal and training skills can help in that endeavor as well.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?

I am studying a Psychology Degree (4th year), and I have already accompanied a few people in their goals' achieving and personal issues (3 people formally to date). In my 2 clubs I have helped my committees to reach President/Select and Distinguished performance several years. I am coach to a club in Brazil.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

I have always enjoyed training and facilitating workshops for small and larger groups. Both my parents were teachers, I may have some bonus abilities running through my veins :)

I felt very supported by our Region Advisors when I was a CGD, PQD, DD and IPDD. I would love to be that supportive person for the next generations of District leaders in the Toastmasters world.
