What is your understanding of the Region Advisor role and how does your experience relate to the role?

The Region Advisor serves as a mentor, coach, and facilitator, supporting District leaders and contributing to the overall growth of the organization. I believe Region Advisors help District leaders navigate challenges and empower them to achieve their District goals. With 17 years of my professional experience coaching peers, implementing processes, collaborating with diverse global teams, and delivering engaging training—I am confident in my ability to give my 100% in this role. I am passionate about leadership development and committed to Toastmasters' mission. As a Toastmasters leader who has navigated through challenging times, I understand the value of collaboration and continuous learning, and I am eager to leverage my skills to guide District leaders and drive collective success within our organization.

What is your experience with coaching individuals and/or teams?

In my professional role as a Support leader, I have served as a coach and enabler for a global team of 40+ members, promoting change management and ensuring support for business continuity. Through this, I have learned the importance of empathy in coaching, understanding each individual's needs, and fostering an environment of trust and collaboration. Within Toastmasters, I have mentored over 60 leaders across Region 13 and beyond, helping them achieve their District missions during their terms as district and club officers. This experience has reinforced my belief in the power of coaching to guide leaders through challenges and support their growth. In my recent pursuit of becoming an Associate Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF), I have had the privilege of coaching over 100 individuals by providing sustained coaching grounded in empathy, active listening, and goal-focused strategies.

Why are you interested in serving as Region Advisor?

Serving as a Region Advisor is a great opportunity to give back to the Toastmasters community, which has contributed significantly to my personal and professional growth. I’ve always believed in the principle, "the more we give to an organization, the more we get from it," and have experienced this firsthand. #GiveMoreGetMore. Beyond my desire to contribute, I’m drawn to this role for the ongoing growth it offers. Serving in any Toastmasters capacity has always been a valuable learning experience—whether through leadership, mentoring, coaching, or relationship building. The chance to continue learning while enabling and supporting district leaders in achieving their goals is why I want to serve as Region Advisor.
