2025 International Speech Contest Semifinals

The Toastmasters International Speech Contest Semifinals lead up to the World Championship of Public Speaking^®, the highest level of competition at Toastmasters. Competition begins at the club level and proceeds through the Area, Division, District, and quarterfinal levels.

Quarterfinal judging takes place in June, and the top two contestants from each contest proceed to the semifinals, where they compete for a chance to become the World Champion of Public Speaking.

Check back here in early July to learn the results of quarterfinals and see the names of the semifinalists who will compete in August. Because quarterfinals now include District winners randomly assigned to contests, the region assignments for semifinals will not be available until the quarterfinals winners are announced. Results from each contest are announced as they become available. If results are not included below, check back soon for updates.

The 2025 International Speech Contest Semifinals and World Championship of Public Speaking^® will be conducted as in-person contests hosted from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States, as part of the 2025 International Convention.
